A very good ending to your tale. I liked the phrase " the 13th of summer". It's catchy!! You did a good job with this book and I enjoyed reading it. Well done.

I very much like how you portray that sense of community holding together, watching each other's backs. This is something now lost in our current society of competition and consumerism.
The narrative was perfect and in concert with the subject matter, and the dialogue flowed and rang true.
Excellent work that I hope to keep on reading.
