You are so right about the stigmas that come with these disabilities. Personally, I watched my mom suffer from dementia and Alzheimer. I also have a friend who is walking across the US to support veterans with PTSD. I like the idea of creating a book for contributors to join.

Cig you would care to post a new view to the chapter feel free. That?s if it doesn?t hurt too much. I?ll start chapter #5 tomorrow, for Alzheimer?s.

Hello I believe you have a good multi authors-book talking about various problems with what is going on our brains, especially
how being Depressed how it made me feel
In My Time of Depression
Within waves of troubled waters
I being beaten and tossed about
by the jaunty winds that blow
from my lonely shore of doubt,
where the anchor of hope was cast;
that keeps pulling me in the strong gale;
I will patiently with strength hold fast to what?
Not any more I have my anchor of faith keep me afloat.

The stigma is that anyone with these is mentally sick. But some are neurologically challenged, not thought wise it?s a mess!
When I go to the doctors? if someone ignores me and asks my spouse ?Can she do ......? I lose my cool.
Thank you so much for reviewing. I hope this ?takes off? !

The only thing I find to review is the prologue or opening statement. I hope I am not missing something here!
I like the picture you chose. It gives a little light -heartedness to a subject that can be heavy.
You may want to think about the wording of the second sentence. Possibly something like, This book is dedicated to giving a voice to those who suffer and others. Just a thought.
I am sure the stories in this book will be interesting, and helpful not only to those struggling with mental illness, but also family members, educators etc.
Good luck with this work. It is a relevant and important topic.

This is a brand new project. Until people copy and paste their penning to the chapters, there is nothing else now! Thanks for reviewing kindly

I am sure this project is quite an undertaking. I have spent the past 23 years working with special needs students. 15 years were working with students with emotional issues. I commend your wanting to give voice to those who suffer with mental illness. Best of luck in this project!
Comment from Meia (MESAYERS)
Anxiety- so bad it grips me like a vice. I had a doctors appointment this afternoon to discuss it. I found myself too ill to attend- to attend a doctors appointment regarding my anxiety! It is crushing and far to complex to explain my heart feels like it is being crushed in a vice. I panic at the thought of seeing anyone even those I really know well. I am either not eating or binge eating right now. I wake up several times in the night chocking. I have no quality of life. I am no tablets but they don't work anymore. This has gone on since childhood, thankyou for allowing me an outlet for this, I suffer from a few other conditions, bi-polar and schizoaffective disorder it is good to bring this to light. Kindest regards Meia x

Meia, this is just what I?d hoped for, bless you. But I?m new to this and I can?t post it for you. You need to go to multiple author book add this entry. Choose number 3 (Anxiety ) chapter and post your original of this, as if you are writing it as a new Post.
There?s NO TIME PRESSURE and if you want to be anonymous you can be. I REALLY appreciate you sharing., and for the review. If you need further help let me know ?
Hugs, Trisha

Meia, you should be able to copy and post yours to chapter 3.
If you want the PTSD poem in the book, copy and post it to chapter 11
Thanks!

The work addresses the problem of stigma attached to people suffering from brain disorder and the need to find lasting solutions to these problems.
The work highlights the scope of the problem areas with a view to getting more people to mobilise an appreciable voice share for the victims.
Excellent work! Keep the flag flying!

Thanks so much Lloyd. I really feel people have little voice, they become a diagnosis with unwelcome remarks etc. I KNOW the suffferers have feelings too. I have Parkinson Disease myself.
I am still blessed,
