This is indeed enduring love. The love that you speak of goes far beyond the grave and desires to be where that person has departed for a season. It's a fragrant love, intense, and consuming like a fire ignited, burning brighter, hotter. I like this Jaybird and enjoyed reading this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

A great little sonnet. I think you handled the form very well, the meter was perfect, the rhyme scheme, and I think it had some great images in it too; of those stars, a touch of romance, the flowers, walking side by side down the road. It had a solemn, reflective tone, but also sublime, a memory of happier times shared with someone you love. estory
