Nice your poem and your comments. All in all, you've explained the situation very well. Writers block is quite a topic to discuss .. and write about

'AWESOME'! Another commendable presentation, Cathy. Reminder of Self? Hmm! I well remember my Law Professor saying, "Bill, always remember who you are." I most certainly relate to 'Let Go'! A while back, I was visiting my cousin in the Smoky Mountains. I was on the east deck writing the final words of a chapter of my book. All at once, a baby black (cub) bear (eyes just open) came waddling out of the woods, and stopped short of the honey feeder close by. I walked over, picked it up and started to pet it. It began squealing, and out of the woods jumped mama bear. I'm here today, to say--"I LET GO!" Moral of my story, "Next time I get 'writer's block', I'm going to play with the baby (fawn) deer"--much safer! The artwork by, Karen Zima is mind-boggling! Your writing is 'Awe-inspiring, Cathy. Keep your quill wet with ink, creative mind creating--and keep a-writing! Best wishes and God bless.
xx Bill

-Syllable count is good.
-Notes appreciated.
-Good use of one continuous thought.
-I like the point you make about
letting the thoughts and creativity
come from the heart.
-Good luck in the contest.

This is a fine 5-7-5 poem and has the correct syllables at 5-7-5
The mind can do strange things, but so can the heart
Best to let go of all inhibitions, and just write.
Interesting Art work
Good luck in the contest
