A lively amoeba you have here-maybe even a bit scary. Love the use of the languages-very funny and fun to read, as well as clever.

This is a really cute Tanka entry, Bill. Quite a mix of languages in a small write, lol
Glad you added definitions in the notes. Well done! ~Kerry

A new take on Attack of the Giant Tomatoes. If we only had great big bacon and a huge head of lettuce we could enter The Guinness Book of Worl[d], (I forgot the D) Records as the largest BLT.

Lol. So German chemists are fighting with Spanish chemist? Or perhaps they are on the same team and are fighting the giant Amoeba?
If quimico is a singular chemist, then it should be "cries" not "cry."

I took poetic license with quimico, as the plural is farmicia.

Whoa, this picture is even better than the last one. So clear and colourful.

Exceptional tanka with adept use of international languages that all amoebas know.

Good luck to you in the contest with this beauty.

Thanks, Deborah, for giving this a look. I taught English to all all high school grades in all its forms, and U.S. History. I was the spelling bee coach, quiz bowl coach, and school newspaper advisor.

Panic is spreading, no one knows in which direction the Amoeba is heading. Run for your life, don't forget your kids and wife! Where oh where can we hide, is it safer out of doors or better to be inside? I don't know, but he is surely much closer now oh!!!
