Hey Henry this is most clever. I like your entire presentation and the butterfly effect in the third line which is likely to result in some big event elsewhere.
Great job and best wishes to you in the contest.

I love this spiritual three line poem of faith because the third line "butterfly wings flap" is so unexpected and is an apt image and metaphor of the butterfly effect theory. Your poem has a haiku-like intensity. You filled it with craft, surprise, and depth.
Thank you for sharing. I wish you contest success.

This one gave me goose bumps. It reminds me not to worry so much as most things are outside of my control. I love the word Chaos. Great job and looking forward to reading more from you Mr. King.

I think once one has read your notes and then reread your 3 lined contest entry the penny drops for your last line and your offering takes on a whole new meaning... Nice!!

Thank you very much for your comments and those sparkling stars.. Yes, its a poser for those who are neither familiar with the aspects of mythological gods nor with Chaos Theory.

You've employed the three line poem structure well. First, you have a connected thought between the first and second lines which speaks of mythology and human existence. The final line introduces the chaos theory which puts into perspective the idea of how such a small thing could also have an impact on universal history.

Such a nice review and complements. Thank you very much. This was a fun poem because it did touch a couple of my favorite projects.

I will take butterfly wings any day to fly away. I never thought about the Gods in mythology using humans at will... destroying lives harming every human they encounter. Good call. yours, diana

Thank you very much for your review. The European gods did have some good aspects, but the American gods had very few if any good aspects. A couple of them would end the human world on a whim and start all over again.

Great picture selection for this three line poetry contest entry that should do good. This poem is filled with imagery. Good luck with the contest.

Thank your for your review.

Not sure that a butterfly has much impact on the weather. Trump is probably the most important factor in helping climate change crash into the hopes and dreams of our grandchildren. His only goal seems to help make his buddies richer and concerns about the weather get in the way. But if one human represents a butterfly - than this human certainly creates chaos. Apologies if your are a MAGA Trumper.

Ha, I don't want what I think to get into the clouds. It began with the primaries. The butterfly effect was presented over thirty years ago. Thanks for the review and stars, they are appreciated.

"Chaos Theory", is short, succinct and very much to the point. It was a pleasure to both read and review this talented poet's delightfully descriptive piece. I look forward to seeing your next post.

This is a terrific three-line poem, my friend. I'm also a fan of mythology. It is very true about the butterfly, also known as the Butterfly effect, I did a three-line poem titled "The Butterfly Effect" a while back, it's quite intriguing. Good luck in the contest. ~Kerry

Thank your for your comments and stars. I too have written about that effect. I live in the farthest spot west you can go in Texas. I have children down to great-grandchildren who reside in the DFW Metroplex. I write, El Paso has the butterfly that starts their tornadoes.

Oh, Wow. I never heard it put that way, that "they have the butterfly" lol
