Great memory land about Captain Kangaroo at WGN-TV-CHICAGO.
I'm sure this show was a fun memory to you. I worked at WGN and
had breakfast with this man out of makeup. He was very kind and
funny. I produced TV commercials for WGN and went on location
with the camera crew. Great city and wonderful memories.

    I grew up in Chicago, perhaps we were there at the same time. What you say must be true because his kind nature came across on the screen. I absolutely loved this show! Thank you for taking the time to read and review.

There were several humorous characters in the popular morning children's show. A note of interest, the actor playing Captain Kangaroo was a WWII war hero.

How about Mr Green jeans? Fond memories of watching this show with my little brother before school each morning. I still remember the theme song. Thanks for the blast from the past!

Oh those childhood memories can still make one smile
I used to watch Buffalo Bob and the Howdy Doody show
Excellent 5-7-5 poem and entry for the contest
with the correct syllables
