This is a lovely poem on God's grace, and the grace we can extend to others. Your poem flows flawlessly with its meter and rhyme. Our world can use a lot more grace. Thanks for sharing your poem.

BEAUTIFUL. Sorry, no more sixes. I just love Bible passages, and I love those scriptures spoken from God and Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. What a lovely and spiritual way to talk about Grace. People, indeed, need more grace to comfort tensions and the world's problems. lol liberty justice

Yes, Jesus is the perfect example of love and forgiveness. He died for our sins, and God gave His only begotten Son to for our transgressions. What is greater that that, and if God can do that for us, how much more are we, His creations? Thanks again for sharing a God-inspired poem.

Wow! You've created some great metaphors here. I especially like: speak verbal silk not goads in lace. The meter is perfect and the message sublime, building up neatly towards those final lines.

A well-deserved six.

Good morning, my dear friend, Roy: This poem is so timely and important. it is well written and full of wisdom and spiritual reminders. Speech and communication are so important that God gave this to us through His word. he ahs used the Bible to remind us of the importance to communicate properly with each other the way He constantly communicates with us if we let Him. Verbally abusive people are discouraged in the bible as words can do much to effect hearts, minds and lives. God speaks strongly against abusive speech and senseless word. I am so happy that you thought to write this marvelous spiritual poem. You are so awesome.

Hi, Roy;
What a lovely poem to find in my inbox this morning. I love the description of grace and the ties to words. It is true that the pen can be mightier than the sword and the wounds just as deep.

Grace is a free gift from God, and we do well to give others grace, too. Forgiveness is divine; anyone can hate.

Thank you for sharing,

~patty~

Man has learned it is easier to get forgiveness than permission. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very easy read. Good job.
