Dolphin Kiss

This haibun, Dolphin Kiss, alludes to a 'swim with the dolphins' and an all-around pleasant life goal accomplished. The adjoining haiku captures this scene as well and the success of achieving the exotic goal. Nice.

I absolutely love this poem. It is so well described and atmospheric, i was right there with you in the water. The last line "bucket overflows" is pure genius. Good luck in the competition.

What a lovely poem. I can feel the tropical air and hear the raindrops. So soothing. The Haibun was well-written and flowed smoothly. Good theme and photo. Well done.

This is an excellent story, but the way the haiku at the end fit with the 'bucket' reference is what earned it a six. What a wonderful memory! Thanks for sharing!

A very well-written haibun. To watch dolphins in nature is an amazing experience and to swim with them must be an extra cherry on the top of a wonderful chocolate cake.

This one would be on my bucket list too, although perhaps not the rubbery kiss on the lips!
The prose is beautifully descriptive and the haiku connected yet different, as it should be. The last words of both the prose and haiku sections express the positivity you gained from this experience.
Good luck.

I've never seen a haibun before, but, having looked up the rules, this one appears perfectly crafted. The prose is highly descriptive, and I can easily envision the experience, and the haiku is lovely. I wish you well in the contest.

Great memories of swimming with the dolphins, how lovely. I saw pink dolphins in the Amazon river when I was there and it was an amazing sight, it must have been such a joy to swim with them. Your write is filled with tropical drops of joy, love Dolly x

I love the final line, when taken in conjunction to your reference to your 'bucket list'. What a great image.
Very well done, really liked this, and I'm enjoying the haibun form, too.
Great job.
Take care.

This is well done for the 'Create A Haibun' writing prompt.
Well written and well said. I like how the verse refers to the bucket as in list.
Thank you for sharing this and good luck to you with the competition.
