This epigram, Royal Wedding, presents a brief, memorable poem which seems to reverse the story of the Princess and the Frog to project a sad, jilted 'toadess'. He seemed jumpy anyways.

I enjoyed the subtle humor in this poem, and accompanying picture complements well the message of the poem. There are no grammar and spelling issues as well. Thanks for sharing this excellent write. God bless.

Is there no justice, no loyalty left in the world today, Anonymous Poet?
Heavens to Murgatroyd, is nothing sacred anymore?
What if the frog croaks before the nuptials? Won't he feel like a complete horny toad and a heel for having done to the toadess what he did?
Oh, woe are we as a society...

Very cute and sweet... Straight to the point. Artwork goes good with the poem. I guess a better offer is sometimes hard to resist,. Thank you for sharing your work. Well done, my friend.

Hi - this is very good in two rhyming couplets. It is a good epigram. I thought the sentence above your title made rather a good epigram also 'Long engagements can mean disengagement'. Good Luck - warm regards Dorothy

A very well-written Epigram about the princess and the frog. The frog knows his only chance to return to a Prince is to be kissed by a beautiful princess.

That's very cute! I remember the story of the Princess and the Frog prince, although there's a version where the frog is a princess. Poor Toadess, too slow, I guess.
