What a transporting, animated picture--I felt I was right there with the family enjoying the ducks and the falling leaves! How clever of you to continue the sensation with the play on "cinema" and the "last leaf"!! A clear winning entry for the 5-7-5 contest!!! Big cheers- Joan

Doesn't it feel just like that? What a great 5-7-5 poem - I never thought of Autumn as being like cinema until I read this, and now I think that is the way I will always see it - wonderfully imaginative poetry.

I love the presentation with the autumn leaf falling reminiscent of the old song, 'September Song' or the old standard, 'Autumn Leaves' drift by my window, (etc.)

This is a very sweet depiction of the end of Fall, but I am not quite clear why "cinema" is highlighted in blue. My only suggestion is in this short of a piece you have too many unnecesary words. You use "the" twice and "a" and "the" - this would be a far more strong piece if you could use other stronger word of description. I hope this helps.
