HI Debbie, LOL...that's ok Debbie...I love Winter too...I find beauty in all the seasons...but I love the crystal in Winter...just not the bitter cold...LOL...but Autumn is beautiful as well....I came in second place...one vote from first...I can live with that...thank you for a wonderful review my sweet friend...have a great evening...love you...Linda xxoo

A marvelous 5-7-5! I line the phrase, "a cinema of autumn." Great metaphor for the showy, colorful nature of Autumn as a movie picture show that all can enjoy. Well presented with an actual falling leaf!

Your poem reminds me so much of so many years ago when I would walk home from school and shuffle through leaves. Then there was the raking and burning of the leaves into the driveway or out in the street. The scent of burning leaves takes me back over sixty years to a different era. Thank you for the memory.

Ahhh... the leaves went by so very quickly this year, and it looks like we are in for a really rough winter, but I have made progress in my feelings towards autumn. I used to hate it because it meant winter was coming and I do not love winter. Now I squeeze every piece of color out of the season before the grey of the winter months enshrouds me.

Ahhh... the leaves went by so very quickly this year, and it looks like we are in for a really rough winter, but I have made progress in my feelings towards autumn. I used to hate it because it meant winter was coming and I do not love winter. Now I squeeze every piece of color out of the season before the grey of the winter months enshrouds me.

To view a picture, devise words with the right syllable count, and have only three lines seems impossible. All I can say is Bravo, you did it! I would love to see a book with pictures and words just like yours.
