the moment that he saw what he had done.
A lovely little insight to little Craig (I'm presuming that cutie with the dog is you). I do like this day's word and the poem you've penned around it, well done.

Love your photo... is that really you? It's been shown that only children are more sociable since they must make friends, having no siblings to play with. My daughter is an only, and she has more friends, good friends, than anyone I ever knew. She may take after my mom, too, since neither her dad nor I are that interested in hanging out with friends. But she's always having parties, even now married in her thirties. Weird. :)

Yep, that's me in the pic. There were plenty of kids in my street, and in the area, so I often had someone to play with, but I still recall spending a fair bit of time just off on my own. Whiskey was with me pretty much everywhere I went though :) Cheers, Craig

Your little book is certainly firing your imagination with inspiring words and I always though cadet was a new recruit, but this word is cadette and refers to a daughter or younger sister, I am wondering if this word has french origins. Anyway your poem is delightfully written and full of yearning for the sister you never had, love Dolly x

Yes, cadette is the female form of cadet, which was acquired from the French language. And, to be truthful, as nice as a sister would have been to have, I would never have swapped Whiskey for one :) Very grateful for the kind review - Craig
