I enjoyed your rich descriptions in this lovely emotions poem :) When you described the smell of honeysuckles, I immediately smelled honey. It was so strong too. So great work. Each of your senses were delightful.

Well done. You have worked well within the confines and have produced a work which still flows well.
Your description of happiness is beautiful and the poem ends with a nice reminder that happiness comes from within

Thank you for a wonderful review.

Some years ago there were a host of "happiness is" statements (I will not honour them with the title poem, but this goes some distance further being a collection of such statements, and the word itself substituted by "it". Furthermore you have bound these five statements into a conclusion that brings the whole thing neatly together.

Thank you. I thought I'd give it a try. I wanted to counteract doom and gloom.

I'll spend my first sixer on this. I read another emotions poem, and I think it's an excellent format. Your similes are really great. It brings in the scent of honeysuckle, nectar of the gods, warmth of sunshine, and smiling faces. The are all a sign of happiness. the feeling shines through in this. Great work. judi

A very well-written emotion poem. You chose the emotion of happiness that smells like honeysuckle, tastes like Olympian god's nectar, and we can only find it within ourselves.

I know absolutely nothing concerning how an Emotion Poem should be composed, Yvonne. But I DO know what I like, and I very much enjoyed your poem.
Excellent font, lovely presentation.
Great poem,

Well done emotion poem, Yvonne! I especially liked the last two lines best:
"It looks like shared smiles and beaming faces
Happiness is something that must start in oneself"
True that Happiness has to start in oneself and it just multiples when it is shared.

I am very much enjoying the emotion poems series, Yvonne. Yours has built in brightness because of the images your using as metaphors to illustrate the great pleasure that happiness brings.
Excellent work my friend.
