Yes, you are right, with one important distinction that could not fit into so few words. Not every human being on Earth feels a "need" to destroy; but those heartless few ruling this world certainly do, and it is their behavior that results in the horrid waste of wars. With that understanding in mind, this Lanturne is a good concise expression of an important truth. Well done, and aptly illustrated with a maple tree seed thwarted in its natural flight to the ground by a man-made barrier.

Thank you ever so much for your thoughtful review, WalkerMan! Quite the challenge to create a message of substance in such a concise format.

This Lanturne spells out some interesting truths for us and our activities as we journey on in our lives on the planet--sad really we as a species can be hell bent on destruction lol

I think this is a good entry for the 'Lanturne Poetry' writing prompt.
Well said in so few words, and very true.
Well done and good luck to you with the competition.

I love your artwork selection. It enhances your poem which is powerful and well delivered in so few works. Very interesting. Well done. Good luck in the Lanturne Poetry contest.

Powerful and direct. This voices one of the most potent issues underlying so many problem's in the world today, including the biggest one in all of history (climate change). Potent closing note on PEACE...will never end in peace. That one phrase can be a whole essay with what can be discerned between the lines. Bravo.

Warmly, rd

Why can't everything be solved with chocolate and coffee? Doesn't that solve everything? I often wonder why everything is so complicated. Why can't we just sit down with whoever or whatever it is and figure things out.
