This is a great poem Janet and your presentation makes it even better. My wife enjoys wine and chocolates, however, I've always been a beer drinker. You know us guys, beer and sports is a hard habit to break.

Thank you Bill for your fun review. I do know what your mean. My husband and son-in-law are beer drinkers as well while my daughter and I like a nice glass of wine and chocolate - well chocolate - that's a must.

I am not a lover of wine but can eat chocolate until the cows come home lol. Only, I can't at the moment as on a diet lol. Love the poem, though. I thought it was a nice poem and thank you for sharing.

I just love the imagery of this poem! Of course, it's partly because my husband and I enjoy really fine wine (both red and white!).

I love the similes here:
'Dark chocolate with chardonnay
is lovely like a rose.
Sweet chocolate is poetry--
fine Chardonnay is prose.'
