This haibun, Spring's Promise, presents both the prose and haiku aspect of the poem. Each addresses the joy of the first signs of the return of Spring and the new life arriving. Neat.

Very well written. I can see the light and am glad for the light after the dark winter days and nights. Spring is a beautiful time of the year when everything comes alive. I love the way you allow it to break through the winter snow and ice.

Wow...very good piece of poetry. I like how you use simple words in a complex manner. That is a really good skill to have. I don't think I could give you any negative feedback because it was all good or I'm bad at giving feedback. Oh well, just keep up the good work! :)
