Well done, well said this chapter in continuation, there is a natural catch in the beginning, stepwise steady plot development, dialogues are realistic, curious and violent ending. Keep writing. DR ALCREATOR

A great chapter Barbara. No wonder they have difficulty accepting all the help from Anderson. It is very generous, after all. I have some difficulty with the concern of Shane's parents. She's 25!!! Surely she can look after herself. We're in 2018 not in 1918! Sorry if I got carried away. All the best. Ulla:)))

Not a problem. Shana's led a very sheltered life. Thank you for the kind review.

Barbara - must have been 80 percent dialogue. You are so good with this technique to drive your story and then your wonderful prose to set it all up. Maybe when I grow up I'll be more like you! Always warm regards, Bill

So glad I have sixes again. Your write deserves it. Benjamin is very traditional. He can't accept that Shana is 25 and capable of making her own decisions. They can't believe that Anderson is able and willing to do so much for the family. It reminds me of Darcy in "Pride and Prejudice" rushing to help Elizabeth's family. Excellent characterization, and I like the way you show the different attitudes as expressed by Benjamin and Anderson. I believe Shana will have the strength to do what she wants to. judi

Hello Barb
All seemed to sound very nice in this chapter until your closure of this chapter

She can lock the damn door," interrupted Anderson. "I won't break it down." At a sound of commotion, he glanced toward Shana and ran toward her, as he yanked a knife from his back waistband.

It looks as if Shana's parents are taking the situation without knowledge of the problems involved. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. There is very good imagery.

Well written dialogue and story line. Easy to follow and read. It builds the mystery and suspense in a good flow and adds the right dramatic moment. Well done. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Good chapter again. I noticed the missing Expression marks from the continued dialogue but I understand that is ok for same person speaking. Getting exciting looks like.

Hi there,

it seems that Benjamin and Anderson are as strong willed as one another. Just one has considerably more money... and influence it seems.

Nice stopping off point.

I won't break it down." - need opening speech marks here.

Things are really hotting up Barbara. Poor old Anderson is trying to convince Benjamin that to stay protected and secure is far better thank a very frail and dangerous thought of reputation opposed to sensible procedure, Jews are hard to crack, (look at the difficulties Jesus had with compassion and grace versus tradition and law) well dine Barbara, great post, blessings, Roy

Thank you for the encouragement. I have often wondered about that; AND Jesus was a Jew and lived among them.
