Whilst there is a lot of truth in this, it does open up a whole can of worms! lol
We believed things because they were written in books and taken as fact, nowadays it's on the TV on internet, but is it really any different?
Things taken as fact have been proven wrong before:
E doe snot = MC squared (it isn't a constant, it only applies in certain circumstances)...
The earth has in fact more than one moon...
Weapons of Mass Destruction did not exist in Iraq (never found)
The Earth was flat.
Ghandi was in fact a wife beater and racist to boot.
Mandela was planting bombs - a terrorist tactic.
Mother Teresa was really interested in pushing the Catholic faith and converting and money was syphoned off...
People used to believe politicians were honest... I doubt the founding fathers were as saintly as people like to think - slave owners...
"Did not!". - delete the full stop from the end here.

Thanks for reviewing. You are always interesting. Could it be there was truth and error in the past just as there is today? It seems we are all prone to take sides and not see ourselves as participants in the struggle, but spectators in the stands, above all and merely applauding our favorites slugging it out in the arena far below.
Me thinks we should be aware of a higher tier where sets a Divine Spectator. Blessings, Dennis

I think you're right, Dennis. We're all just sitting in the cheap seats. Only one best seat in town and up high...

Delightfully retold! I do think we need to keep good dialogue up all across different generations. It's so important to keep communication lines open to be able to speak of deeper truths than historical discussions.

Dennis,, I am not sure what they are being taught, but I can bet about 75% of it has been changed from what we were taught during the dark ages when we were in school. LOL Patricia

Oh yeah, sadly, you got that right. In some cases they are being encouraged to experiment to see if they are a boy or girl. We do need to pray The the children. Thanks for reviewing and God bless you, Dennis

What a cheeky little girl. I think she just liked to show off and cause an argument.
That last line was a beaut. It summed it all up in one sentence.
I wonder a lot about what they're teaching in schools these days. It all seems so different than when I was young. Oh, well. Time passes. 8-)

Yes, they are now teaching kids to experiment and see if they were meant to be a boy or a girl. Pray for our young.

This is excellent A confrontation between a third-grade teacher and his stubborn student. I am willing to accept the cherry tree story, but even Tom Brady couldn't throw a silver dollar across the Patomic.

This is cute, Deniz :) I love the picture of the precocious third grader. I'm always amazed when Ellen DeGeneres has these smart kids on her show and they know incredible trivia about Presidents and sports. I don't do that stuff with my kids and grandkids. Sometimes I think maybe I should???

It's enough to make you want to kneel in the snow and pray for our country...
This last line was the best bringing the whole piece together and it worked very well. I enjoyed both the humour and the awful truth of this write. I worry so much about the future. I don't have children but if I did I would be so worried for theirs. well done this is excellent work Kindest regards Meia x

Deniz,
Did she have anything in particular that she was referencing or was she just speaking in general?? Just to be argumentative? Very entertaining, D. I enjoyed! Thank you!
