This is a cute poem. Well written, well rhymed, a good and funny story.
And the picture is a blast.
Well done and thank you for sharing this with us.

LOL! Love the picture. You and I have much in common. I sit all day until my feet swell. To prevent it I dance in my chair. It works. :)

well, I haven't tried that. Okay, I'm trying - my knees keep hitting the desk - ha!
Okay, out to the side. If this works, you're my friend for life! thanks!!!!!

This is entertainingly fantastic, nothing seems partial, all appear true, change in course of living with a choice that motivates life; New Year's resolution is not so teasing; it was a pleasant read. DR ALCREATOR

thanks, Teri.
The fiction part is I don't smoke cigars. ha! just kidding. I'm working up to exercising, but it's too much fun to write.

lol I hear you. We babysit our three and a half year old grandson. That is about all the exercise I can take these days! Have a blessed night!
-

thanks, Oliver. You're the person who looks like you're in Crested Butte, Colorado. I know you told me once where that was taken, but, of course, I've forgotten. I have a photo of a very similar shot of a mountain in the background and it and the town really look familiar.
At any rate, thanks a lot for the kind words.

Haha you?re welcome. It?s in Yangshuo, China actually.

China - I'll be.
Is your apostrophe broken or is it just for fun?

I'm cheering you on, Katharine! Hope you do well with or without silver sneakers. I find that I get moving more if I put the laptop on a counter top and read or write in between cooking in the kitchen. My resolution is to do more shoulder exercises - another one of those muscles which are on "strike." Happy New Year!

well, I have been considering getting a laptop and I think you just talked me into it. Also I can sit in my comfy chair with it with my feet up and maybe they won't swell so much. I am in the kitchen a lot, too, and your idea sounds like a good one. Thanks and Happy New Year to you, too. Good luck with your shoulder. PT helped me with mine.

Oh, the brain needs work, too. I forgot to mention you have a typo:
"My leg againt the wall." (against)

I do Sudoku to try to keep the brain working - don't know if it's working. Thanks for catching the typo.
