I think you covered the most wondrous gifts admirably in this well penned piece. The imagery is beautiful and calls to mind that enraptured moment each of us has had when gazing at the ocean or a star in the night sky. I especially liked the reference to the much maligned 'blue' as God would not have made so many shades of it to enjoy was there not something special about it. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Comment from Meia (MESAYERS)
As a poem I would like to see this broken up into stanzas because otherwise it becomes rather prosaic. I loved the content however, quite beautiful and very compelling to read for me at least. I think overall it is rather marvellous it just needs a little formatting to make it into a poem otherwise it is a spiritual short prose work. Very good though! Kindest regards Meia xx

Comment from Dean Kuch
I truly enjoy your very uniquely formatted, interesting brand of poetry, Vance. It's all crunched up together, almost as if it were one continuous thought.
But, it's not.
It's a string of thoughts, like this, about God and nature and the beautiful things He's given us all to enjoy.
All for free.
What more can we ask for than that?
Well done, sir!
~Dean :)

Hi, Vance. A strong write here my friend, with many questions within the answers.
Strong metaphors that carry your theme forward. Nature abundant here too. A nice write of faith.
My best wishes.
Have a great New Year, my friend.

Vance, this is truly beautiful, rich with vibrant imagery - I have one, small nit, however, and that is the presentation (but only because it makes it harder to read when it is not broken into stanzas - these eyes are growing more challenged with every passing day. LOL)
Wonderful poem! Happy New Year, my friend. May 2018 be the best one yet!

In this poem you display excellent tone, tenor and imagery that awed me as a reader. You do have the gift to mix and mingle words in imagery that turn out absolutely thrilling to the reader, and dig deep into the mind.
My favourite lines:
as the ocean sings to the sky and the sky cries in gratitude, its glorious tears kiss beauty and grace into the flowers and trees, and their fragrances feed the butterflies, and the fresh winds carry their majestic blue back across as the ceiling of life brings a billion smiles across the horizons and love is born.
Blessing for the New Year,
Apky

Exquisite imagery, tone and tenor. Beautiful and inspired, dearest Vance! This is exalted in mood and substance. I enjoyed it a ton. The voicing and flow are good, even with the run-on longer lines, but there are spag issues that hamper the smooth read (noted below), since this is a prose-style poem.
NOTES
I LOVE the opening line:
Not more than tiny fingers of light are called to form the chords of God's music and light dancing upon the harp of destiny and the celebration of life.
* Would now the thundering hoofs (hooves) of reality pounding the dry(,) hard floor of reality,(no comma) bring clouds of consciousness to the horseman of life?
Powerful personification:
Can the wings of silence lift the heavy storm clouds of fear from the grip of desperation and worry that spits boredom's ignorance into the face of Mother Nature?
*
Do you know why anything blue may not be sad? a(A)s the ocean sings to the sky and the sky cries in gratitude, its glorious tears kiss beauty and grace into the flowers and trees, and their fragrances feed the butterflies,(space)and the fresh winds carry their majestic blue back(s) across as the ceiling of life brings a billion smiles across the horizons(-- or ,) and love is born.
*The smiles abide(,) and God's greatest gift of gratitude sweeps across uncounted hearts(,) and,(no ,) life itself is created.
Elevating and inspiring write.
Lovely presentation.
Thank you.
God Bless.
Happy New Year.
Happy New NOW!
Warmest Wishes,

There is something so beautiful in the arrangement of these words and the images they create in the mind as we read. I liked, not only the lovely word selection, but also the message they offer, of gratitude to God for all that's good in our lives. What an appropriate message as we look back over the year now ending and think about what lies before us. God is at the center, no matter where we look, but I hope I will remember to lift up my eyes in the months ahead. It's there I find my help. I appreciate your kind spirit and generous ways, Vance. I hope 2018 is for you the happiest year yet. Hugs, MM
