I must admit, there are truly few men (or woman) I can truly trust, my wife is one, and a few select, but then, I trust their faith, love and compassion rather than an holistic trust. I do, however have complete trust or faith in God, (more by choice on evidence than my unreliable emotion) well done good free verse entry in this contest, blessings Maria, Roy

Caught on the trees
I want to touch
With longing hands.
I love the intimacy of this poem in which the narrator sees God as a dear friend:
The burning sun,
The cotton clouds,
Make me dream
Of You, sweet friend.
Your poem is vivid, lofty, and flows well to its stunning conclusion:
The best of worlds
You gave me.
