These are very good writers. All deserving of their ranks because their poems are well written and you can't fail to enjoy them.

I think line eight should be Patcelaw's stayin, not leavin.

The top ten poets deserve to leave the pack. They are all prolific (especially Dip. He posts two poems each day) and fine poets. I look forward to reading their posts.

Unfortunately, only the top five receive trophies. I think they all deserves trophies.

I love your usage of rhymes.

Hi Poetic Friend. Thanks for your read and have made some small changes and hopefully it reads even better now LOL I do that sometimes revise when I think about a better line. You could always simply write Corum, Robyn, with a comma to make her name grammatically correct, Christine.
Who knows how I got ranked as highly as I did. The sort of stuff I write doesn't exactly evoke those warm and fuzzy feelings.
In reality, I'm not all that prolific either, posting perhaps four times a week--if that.
I'll be abstaining from the "rat race" next year as my participation at FanStory will slowly start to wane.
Come the first of the year, I'm concentrating my efforts outside of FS, where they pay real, honest to goodness money for poetry and stories.
Well see what happens.

Hi Dean, Thanks so muc for reading and sometimes I am so stupid that I cant seecthe wood for the trees I have just put Robyns name around correctly as it still fits in with the next line which I have also changed to make it work even betrer LOL . Sometimes I do this and then go back and make changes if I think up a better line Ha Ha.
I will never be in the Top Ten as I cannot write quickly enough and to be honest I simply cant affort the cost of trying to promote my work. As it is it cost me $36 Australian dollars to buy 25 Fanstory' Dollars 'which do not go far when promoting ones work.
i would also like nothing better to do than be able to spend all my time writing poetry and short stories but unfortunately I have to also work and have other things in my busy life to take care of so Time for me is a precious element.and I only write when I can afford to do so and have spare time.
I do hope you stay and write sometimes as you provide excellent work and I really enjoy your jonre' and have found your poem always amazing. Good luck with your other endevours though and hopefully you can make some good money with your skill.

I wrote this poem in good fun and hope it is taken in the lighthearted way it was meant to be bit also acknowledging all the great Top Ten poets here. Of course there are many more fabulous writers not in the Top Ten. ( I am number 64 LOL) and will probably stay there forever HA Ha so my line to be number one was firmly tongue in cheek .
