I enjoyed your great little story Maria about George and Luke. It had a very good surprise ending. Best wishes and a Happy New year. Jen.

An adorable story. I'll bet kids would love this and it makes a good point about cleanliness. Nice twist at the end letting us know about the pig and the cat. It makes it fun to read a second time knowing their perspectives

this is so cute and the closing lines are truly delightful and definitely unexpected
your well written story also carries a very strong message about being satisfied and not thinking that there is greener grass elsewhere
blessings my friend
have a smiley day

Watch out what you wish for and this is done in quite a differnet twist at the end and one that really made me stop and think, not only of the pig and the cat...but us

Sneaky smart writing. To me, this started as a children's story. I thought the word choice and rhythm were targeted for younger audiences. But that had no impact on my enjoyment. It reads like a fable. And the moral in the end jolts the reader out of their expectations. I didn't see any errors. The art supports the theme. And the takeaway is like a little reminder that things aren't always what they seem. I enjoyed this story.

Coming from a background of untidiness, (me, not my siblings or parents) I can tell you I always felt a little uncomfortable in their presence, (but I still love them, heh heh). Well done, Maria, the grass may be greener, but a close look will probably see some untended weeds! Well done, great short work, blessings, Roy

This was so cute but also packed full of wisdom. It was very enjoyable and entertaining to read. I especially liked the last sentence where the true identities of George and Luke became known. Great job Maria, thanks.
