This post indicates a great deal of research and an ability to relay that research into a logical read. I am a Christian who came to faith young and the confirmed my belief through research...it can be done. Thanks for the post.

The piece has a lot of interesting systems that many of us know only a little about. However, those places that live those ways have the Utopia experience. If one gave a view of the system, it's because a changed of residence from original their home to the USA. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the piece.

Thank you so much for sharing this well thought out essay about Utopia. I liked that you included all of the other 'isms,' as a contrast to what Utopia would be like.

I found the definitions of 'fascism' and 'patriotism' very interesting. In the United States, we are rapidly going through all of these stages, and I believe we are watching the decline and end of the existing government. I didn't think I would live through these times, but watching the changes is actually fascinating.

Your essay reminds us of the ideals we once aspired to - during the 60s, and tells us of where we are,

Hi,
I have agreed with your points, and I think they are very instructive indeed. Nowadays, the world is at stake: neo-Nazis groups proliferate - in Europe and in USA, for instance. The danger with those groups is: they make themselves as victims of the "dangers" of liberalism.
All the best,
Antonieta

Music has the ability to bring people and their thoughts together. The anthem of Utopia is John Lennon's song "Imagine." The message of the lyrics imply that the way to "live as one" is to eliminate the isms of organized religion, politics and money. It may be that Yoko's influence, probably based upon Eastern philosophy, had an impact on John.' I adore that song. This is brilliant thinking and reflects my own opinions. Well done simply fantastic kindest regards Meia xx

Wow, what an interesting essay. I especially enjoyed you description of the different types of isms. The makes a lot of sense, if only there were a way to implement into our society. Freeing people from the wage-slave mentality and allow the true natures to evolve. A great piece.

A very philosophical and informative piece. Sadly the idea of Utopia is all but a dream that will never be achieved. In order for this to happen the reasoning and free-thinking parts of the brain would need to be deactivated to achieve a total consensus of obedience to the greater cause.

It won't happen if even ruling elites are removed or step aside. Humans are not sheep to be herded and descension always rears its head.

This goes along with the metaphysical teachings I have absorbed. There is only one truth we need to practice- unconditional love. Our purpose on earth is to find enlightenment and that means ability to recognize group-think and fight the human instinct to follow the crowd. Lessons handed down from generations. So many people allow the media to control their thoughts. But their is hope when people band together regardless of beliefs when danger threatens especially natural disasters. A fine, concise write.

We'll have to reach an all out low first, I'm afraid. I won't leave long enough to see it, I fear.
