Ooooooooooooh, I FEEL this one. What a great haiku! Your kire is perfect, and the kigo is even mentioned without sounding forced, as it sometimes does when the season is not merely implied. I loved it! (That satori is what we have been experiencing here, in Toronto, lately! *shudder*)

I admired your "steel" simile and metaphor in the satori line. Your rich description in this haiku is accented well by the dramatic picture. Best wishes in the contest- Joan

This is very nicely composed, descriptive. It reeks of the coldness of December's steely frozen earth. Every word is well chosen to build an image for the reader in this fine poem. Marilyn

"Winter's icy grip," indeed how enchanting as poet paints a picture
of the moon as a cold part of winter shining down on earth as though the grounds looks like steel. Such a short but sweet poet. truly, liberty justice

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! GOOD LUCK IN CONTESTS, TODAY! You have my thumbs up to launch you forward. Check out my 2 books in my profile, and tell me why you think I only sold 7 of these 2 books in an entire year? I am so sad sick depressed down. Do you think $7.99 is too much for these books? If you think I should lower price, then what should I lower it to? One is a poetry book and one is a short story book. You be my Marketing and Advertising Consultant! lol liberty justice
