A very well-written animal haiku. Horses are wonderful animals to have around. They are loveable and connect to humans very quickly. Too watch them running overbte fields are a great experience.

It's quite meditative just to cross a field out in the wide open country, Anonymous Poet. I'm fortunate enough to be able to do so every day where I live.
Add riding a horse and you've taken it to a whole new level, harkening back to those days of yesteryear.

I have always loved horses, even considering that I have an allergy. I have always felt comfortable with them. And even with an allergy< I'd own one if I could afford to take reasonable care of it. Good luck in haiku animal contest.

Horses are great for healing and sometimes getting answers. I was scared of horses once upon a time then I went to a horse ranch were there they showed me how calming horses can be and sometimes the horses will actually speak to you spiritually.
