Love the mug! It's fun to watch Christmas movies. I've been watching some of those cheesy ones on Hallmark. I know what Baikeys is, but I'm going to have to look up Disaronno.

Disaronno is an Italian liqueur. I was exposed to it at an early age, and it is a special treat at this time of year.

hi there;

not quite in packing mode; I start packing in earnest next week. I'm just itching to decorate the new place!

My hubby wants to paint the interior walls to match our stuff, and there's a room that needs new carpeting installed, so we won't officially move until the third week of January. (I have to give 30 days notice here - and it looks like the closing will happen right after the New Year.)

I had to look up Disaronno to figure out what it was. I have never heard of it but it sounds good. Personally, I like Baileys in my coffee. Very relaxing poem, just my kind of day.

I love Baileys, but Disarono is a favorite, too. Since it is an Italian liqueur, my great-grandparents would toast at holidays - and even little old me (about 3) got a taste.

Today, I get to have it in two shots, over ice!

These phrases make me feel relaxed and ready to join in the same type of activity. There are so many wonderful Christmas Stories made into movies, both old, in Turner Classics and modern comedies about the holidays. The comfort of dogs along side you is one I can visualize. Right now, I have no dog or dogs but soon I hope to adopt one. The turn of phrase "a smile in my heart" is lovely.
