One of the lovliest ways to melt the female heart is flowers. And this is a very well-written poem which is a tribute to friends who, like me, love flowers and especially poinsettias. From this lady's beginning of the relationship, till the end of her days, she cherished poinsettias.

Good morning, Patty: This poem is so bitter-sweet. It starts off of all the special times that the poinsetter flower was given and why it was so special. It then ends with the a little shock and much sadness as he has to use her favorite flowers yet agin but this time for her funeral. So sad but beautiful, Patty, very nicely done.

A very well-written poem and honor to friends that have a love for poinsettias. From her first date to her death that was the preferred flower for her. In honor of her life, her coffin is covered in her favorite poinsettias.

So sad and yet so very sweet. I wouldn't think that such a large flower as a poinsettia would work on a dress. Great story telling in verse with a whole plot from the beginning of the relationship to the death of the beloved.
