A very well-written poem. When two lovers have something in common to share their love with, it is a great certainty the love will last a lifetime of fun together.

This is very sweet.
You have a lot of nice imagery that displays your love of animals.
The stanza :
"I used to ride horses,
first with anxiety in my heart,
later with pleasure
and more relaxed.
Mind you I usually asked a quite one."
brings the reader into your world.
One spag: "cuddle over there (their) nose.
