This is a very beautiful free style poem you have penned about the autumn of your life. It seems to be that way at times in our life. You used very good descriptive wording and very good imagery. Blessings, Teri

This is a very good poem. The intense passion of love changes with the seasons of love. It doesn't mean there is no love, but rather that it calms down and it becomes more mellow. Nicely composed. Marilyn

It would never be a good thing to find out your lover for many years is wanting a new love. I found in my 37 year marriage that no matter how hard the times were for us, with illnesses we came out strong in our love. Patricia

You deliver a beautiful synopsis of love's seasons. Your word choices inspire both visual and visceral responses in the reader. Nicely done and thank you very much for sharing it.

The autumn of love can mean it is maturing or it could mean it is coming to a close, but a new beginning starts in both cases, best wishes, love Dolly x

Nobody can predict the future. In relationships, we have to keep lines of communication open and care for our significant other through good times and bad. Thanks for a thought provoking poem.

An excellent work. I liked the analogy of the changing seasons. The spring of life and the zestful adventures of love's life, then the mellowing and the colour change to autumnal, orange to grey, the graduation of love's adventure culminating in...doubt? Well done, written in articulate verse, and slightly changing rhyme, inbuilt to give it affect, wel done, blessings, Roy

I've really enjoyed reading your poem, the way it describes the changing nature of love... But what I loved the most was the surprising ending.
Thanks for sharing.

A very well-written love poem that seems to last through all the seasons, but in the season of Autumn we start to doubt ourselves if we are strong enough to go through the two last seasons.
