Thank you so much, Joan. I'm over the moon that I can now hold MY book in my hands. I keep being sent photos on my Facebook page of my book on people's tables. Oh, Linda, I cried when I held it in my hands! I never really believed I could do it, but everyone on FS has been so encouraging. Thank you so much, Bill! It's such a lovely feeling. I've just downloaded your book and I'll leave a good review. I already know it's going to make me cry. I would buy the book but it costs a lot on postage and just before Christmas its hard going. But, I will get it in the new year as I want to give it to a friend of mine as a Birthday present. I know she will love it to. She has lost many of her family to Cancer. it's a horrid illness. Congrats on your publishing too, my friend. :) xxx

Apple and ITunes will have it by next week for downloading and there is no postage. I think it's going to be for $10.55US. As soon as I am told that it's available, I will let you know. -Bill

Great news. My review score does not reflect how I feel about this wonderful moment in my life. I remember the same feeling myself. This piece however, is pretty basic and pretty much an advertisement. While the emotion shines, I can't say it's excellent.

Thank you so much, Margaret. I didn't go to traditional publishers, I knew I'd never get one at my age and with the millions of other young, up and coming writers seeking agents and publishers, I'd have to prove myself first. I watched the success of CumbrianLass, (Avril) she self-published two on Amazon and then was picked up by a traditional publisher. You just don't know these days what is the best way to go. I went through CreateSpace, they put it all together for me as I was totally lost and hadn't a clue. When they sent me my free copy before they released it on Amazon and the other sites, I just couldn't believe it had happened. 84,000 words, and it started out as a short story. lol. As you know, I'm a good way through the second book and I have a third planned. As far as I'm concerned now, I have a novel in my hands and already I've had some good sales from people I don't know. I've done what I never thought was possible. I hope I am able to write as many as you have, that would be an amazing achievement.. You have been so inspirational, my friend, and look at you now! So happy for you - I've 10 books plus a book of poems.
Sorry about late reply, but I've
just come home from a week's hospital AGAIN! - my bloodpressure was 220 and they kept me in - another angiogram to check my stents and other artery - plus brain scan and an MRI - the room rocks and I get pulled to the ground no matter how I hang on. am on a stick now and can't go out alone... but I'm so pleased to be home in my own bed and to have peace (altho the staff were all very nice). M
