Hi Patty, prayer is actually only 1 syllable (according to dictionary.com). I looked it up because I pronounce it as one.

Ok, I just looked on the old trusted Merriam-Webster and they have it as one. Your poem/entry so do what you want. It is a great poem and I would hate to see it disqualified. Maybe ask in the forum?
