Oh, I hate to hear that about the other house, Patty. I know you kinda had your heart set on that one.
Why on earth would the real estate agent sell it out from under you that way?
Seems wrong to me.
This house looks very nice as well, and it appears as if your neighbors are a bit further away.
A house is not a home until a family fills it with love.
Well done.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving, and better luck with this one!

Hi, Dean;
Well, all hope isn't lost. We have been placed in the 'backup offer' position on the first house and last night we put an offer in on a gorgeous Craftsman home. I'm feeling confident we will be starting a deal SOON!

Oh, sorry that your house-hunting is taking so long. You're right that Thursday is coming and it's not the greatest time to spend so much time looking. Hope you get your offer accepted soon.

Oh, so sorry to hear you didn't get the other house. Well, maybe that means something better is coming along. I'm sure it's hard to look over the holiday.

Life moves on while one search for the perfect home. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good story. There is very good imagery.

Oh, Patty, I am so very sorry you didn't get your beautiful house. I'll keep hoping for you to get what your really want and deserve. Apartments will never be what a house can be.
Right now, it's very much a seller's market, which makes it very hard for those trying to buy. I wish you the best of luck, and am very glad you are sharing your journey with us.
Take care,
Rhonda

I hope you aren't lamenting the home you wanted to have because I'm still hoping you get it and pray for you. It was lovekly in photo.
Do you mean the owner is demanding too much? I know here in Germany (and we're a country populated almost to the last inch, investory are buying old buildings and turning them into luxury homes only a few peopole can afford.
My fingers are still crossed.

I truly love minute poems, you can do so much with them.
Nicely done, spot on rhyming and flow. Have faith, the right one will come

Patty,
Sorry to hear about the deal on your hoped for house. You will find another but I know it probably doesn't seem like it now.
Good job on your minute poem describing your hopes & desires with house hunting. Thanks for sharing. Jan

Patty, This is a very well written minute poem about you still searching for a home. When Tom and I were trying to find the perfect place, so to speak, we came across many homes we really liked. We finally ended up with the perfect house, being us buying the home of our oldest son's teacher's house. It was pretty and nice enough. Still here after thirty one years. It took us a while to find the right one. Just hang in there my friend. Don't buy something just because. I say that as I wanted one so bad I would have done that. Thankfully Tom had a good head on his shoulder! Well written poem! Teri

A familiar story. Buying a home is a big deal, fraught with many details.
Decisions that last a lifetime.
You've condensed a multitude of emotions into relatively few lines.
Good luck!

Craftsman! does that mean it's manufactured by Sear's?
