Nice comparison of your poem and Jason's, it offers a wonderful way to give the gift of life. Your poem (or are they both yours?) Darkness Besets Me, use dialogue to create a guess who I am format that acts like a riddle, offering more scary details as you go, the end line Destiny packs a punch. Jason's tale in the Car Built by Ford..., is a good pair with this one.

My November month is May passed on Jason's birthday most of my writings intensify I feel more from above and it just keeps getting deeper and deeper everyday as you pick it up you'll notice that I was in contact with the gift of life people again today I am a representative nicer to work for them hanging out talking making an attempt to get on Kelly and Seacrest in the morning to promote organ tissue donation in my book to Gift of Life wish me luck dr. Thanks Barb at all my reviewer's you're the one that feels that the most as this birthday month of November Progressive they will get deeper and deeper and deeper hopefully call of eating with me going on TV in December with a representative Gift of Life to promote my book in organ tissue donation say a prayer I can save a lot of Lies by get on the Kelly show in the morning thanks dr. This is a very interesting well- written poem. I like how you formed it into a riddle. That was a unique approach. You're so right life has many ups and downs, good times and bad. All we can do is work through the bad, learn from our mistakes and move on. My motto has always been what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

I am so sorry for your loss. I understand about November being a bad month, mine is in August, I lost two of my kids on the 25th.
