Hello Michael;
You've given us a glimpse into the character, and a lot of backstories. I wonder if too much of the backstory was lost in the edit because I got lost while reading a few times.
This is a very interesting character. Sounded like Madame Secretary meets Designated Survivor.

It is a bit long. You had developed the character in the first part of the story. The message though is a good one and we all need to be aware of the dangers of carbon- monoxide poisoning. Patricia

A very well-written character story that can go into many directions from the first page. There are many other characters whose characters can be developed in an interesting variety.

This is a good story and I think the length is correct. There are no flat bits and the story is smooth and concise. I liked the girl who showed her bravery from a very young age. Thank you for sharing.

I liked that she was obviously a rescuer of other people from an early age and could assess a situation and act quickly to save lives. the question is - is she the right person to save the nation? Left hanging, that question it to be answered by the reader. I liked the character in a 'mumsy' sort of way and hope she ignores the generals and acts rationally. I think she has the strength of character to do that...
I liked that there was just enough information to fill us in with the details but didn't digress to far away from the purpose of the piece.

I like this they learned a lot from it of course you were Humphrey was a recognized president but he wasn't recognized like the Lincoln Kennedy or many many the others and he wasn't present during wartime his wife Abigail was very very honorable receiving Awards very very discreet about them saving many wives even including her family's at a early age of 5 years old I like to picture of her she looks young there I don't recall ever seeing her pictures of her as first lady but I'd have to Google that that put the two together but this was very well written I thought was going to be entered in the contest there's been a contest out there about famous people to write about but you probably didn't know about it so you think about entering it thanks for this talk to Ricky 1024
