Hi, Maria
= Neat interpretation of the artwork.
= You can't go wrong with daisies in the rain.
= AND, of course, a good man. Nice work.
Cheers, J
Have a good day/evening!

There are many metaphors for love, but I think flower, or even the Rose, best personifies love, the rose bush grows in the harshest conditions, but still produces the best and most beautiful of flowers. Jesus is known called the Rose of Sharon, he wore us as His crown of thorns. Beautifully written Maria, a marvellously descriptive work, using creation as its foundational substance, well done, blessings, Roy

This is a fine daisy in hand poem. The similes for love--a weed, a flower--are effective and romantic. I especially enjoyed this passage:
My love is like the sea
That dances with the moon.
Your verse is vivid, reminding me of a Valentine card.
You close with these lines, comparing love to the generative qualities of earth:
My love is like the earth.
Always generous,
Always fair.
Thank you for sharing. You have successfully met this challenge.

Sometimes it takes awhile before one knows they are in love. I would have to guess that you've had that time. Obviously, your thought resulted in a beautiful poem. I wish you, continued love.

A very well-written poem and an excellent interpretation of the 'picture this' challenge. We are persistent in finding love as the daisies are persistent to find the sunlight.

MJ,
This was sweet and clever and worked really well with the Picture This image this week. I enjoyed your sentiments here and am pleased that you (I'm assuming?) have a love like this in real life. YAY!
Thank you!

My husband is a gorgeous man. I met him 40 years ago, but we married when I was 25. Even though we've have our ups and downs, I think he's the best.
Thanks for reading.
