A very well-written poem about love and how we look at what we want through a window, when going too close is not possible. A loved one far away is the one we adore the most.

I love the idea of staring out the window and in the pane of glass, seeing the reflection of the one you love, sadness, but still longing. Great content

Dip, your poem on the window of love reminds me of that phrase "the eyes are the window of the soul." In your poem, love itself is the window through which one sees a beloved. This is an apt metaphor as you express here:

The window of love is so clear
I look out to the world through the pane
Knowing you'll always be near
Beautiful memories will always remain

After rhapsodizing on the window of love, your poem ends with the shadow-cast clouds of loneliness and longing:

I lay on my pillow and the sadness
Creeps in to my life once more
Just have to forget all the badness
Of not having the one I adore

This is a fine poem that talks about different aspects of the window of love. the window of love can also leave you outside in the cold rather than inside snuggling warm with a beloved.

Thank you for sharing.

This is well done. Good use of imagery. Great flow throughout the piece. Your rhymes are well constructed and natural. I love the image of the window your words evoke. Good metaphor too. Thank you for sharing your work.
