Good luck with the entry. If i were to make a suggestion, I think the comma after been creates an awkward pause. Otherwise, i do like your last line. We can always promise to be together. Can get married, swear vows. But with time, people and feelings can change and we have to break those promises if we want to be true to ourselves.

Holding on to someone in your heart reminded me of my fist love. It was the way see showed me how to love someone or maybe it was the way she made love to me. Either way, it was my first romantic experience.

This is a different and unique sort of love poem - which is good - for the contest judging, I think. I imagine they get tired of the same sappy poems all the time. This is a different and unique sort of love poem - which is good - for the contest judging, I think. I imagine they get tired of the same sappy poems all the time. A nice romance poem.
It tells a nice story with good emotion.
The last line confuses me a little bit, though. Does it mean you won't always be together? It seems to negate the line above it.
I like the picture.

Thanks for your comment, Death could separate even the greatest loves, as time goes on it is inevitable. I Try not to dwell on this though.

This was short and sweet to the point I wrote a piece once about two roses intertwined which is cording in my rosenthal's either truest and deepest form of love from above I invented that idea and I've actually presented it to my female friend who I don't have anything to do with anymore Nancy she wasn't a poet she wasn't a writer and she didn't believe in me so course she didn't believe in anything I did when it came to love doctor Ricky 1024 and good luck with this

Nice flow. All the positive images the poem generates until the very last line, which they seem to realize their love might not be strong enough to keep them together until death.

A very well-written heartfelt love poem. When we love someone very much all we want, is to be close to their side. It is not always possible to be together, we have to trust them when they are not near.
