A poem's sentiments I completely agree with. Nature is the true artist. I can't even say which stanza I like the best as they all perfectly express that feeling of awe and wonder of Nature's hand. If I have to choose, I say your opening stanza stands out to me. A lovely poem. Thank you so much for sharing.

This was very good. A pleasure in reading it. Nicely worded creating that aura that is paramount for any poem. Good metaphors with colours printed on the mind.
Nicely done.
Have a good day, author.

Hi, Tom;
Your lovely quatrains are smooth and remind us that the greatest artist of all is Him. He creates beauty in abundance, and our efforts to recreate the grandeur of his work are usually failures.

Thank you for sharing,

I like the message in your poem and the rhyming. I also can marvel at the sky.
It's blue beauty and changing space. It never quite looks the same as it did
the last time I looked. But who is the broken ear?

This poem shows your love of and the awesomeness of nature. It tells us that no one can catch the true beauty of nature in any man-made art. The tercet at the end, I think, is telling us that no matter how broken we are we can still see the beauty in the world around us.

Keep writing

E,
This is a well constructed poem with the aa bb and so forth rhyming scheme. Easy flowing meter for sure. I think the last three lines seem out of place and belong to another write. :0 GracieAnn

Creating Beauty is a well written and well rhymed poem.
It also speaks to me as I don't think that there is anything man made that can compete with nature's beauty.
We only need to look with our eyes and hearts open to take it all in.
Thank you for sharing this.

I was thinking these very things just this evening. Coming home, the sky a purple-blue, that had you painted it that way, people would call it 'unrealistic', and framed against it, a maple, not red yet though....an in-between hue of coral-pink. Just gorgeous, totally surreal. This is a lovely nightcap!!! Blessings...

Lovely. Totally agree. The sky-paintings are the best. Divine Signature!

Love the lines:

Picasso paintings passing by.

and

The streaks of gold and ebony
Move hearts and minds to ecstasy;

and this stanza:

I say to you no artist lives
Who can create what nature gives.
Man truly is the neophyte,
When matched with nature's living light.

And I like the three-liner closing that has no caps but lots of lovely alliteration:

a broken winged bird
still sings a song of beauty
to the broken ear

Beautiful message and voicing Fine flow and rhyming too.

Love,
Sis

Oh how I appreciate a piece that rolls off the (mental) tongue as this one does with ease. The theme continues throughout, also making it a pleasure to read. An easy five star rating.
