Hello again, Ogden: This is a very fun-filled post and it is one that we could all relate to. It is now Autumn season but it already feels like deep winter, here in New York. I don't know where you are from but I hate New York winters. I've lived here all my life. Well, I have lived in Virginia for six years but returned to New York and this is where I stay.

Anyway, back to your poem. I am not looking forward to catching one of these horrible colds. I do remember going through a few winters and not catching one though. However my children do get sick and this is bad enough for me.

Your picture is a great choice for this poem and the poem is terrific.

Hmm. You must live in the city North. Here in Manhattan, we haven't felt the nip of deep Winter yet, although it has gotten a bit chillier. Long ago, I spent a few years in the Tidewater section of Virginia. It's surprising we don't know each other. I've never met a Tier, but we may have bumped in a store, with no more than an 'excuse me.'

It's not as cold here as you think, so don't catch cold.

Yes, I did realize after reading your profile that you do live here in New York. I am at work right now here in Manhattan. In the Bowling Green section. I work the overnight shift. I am hearing that tonight it will be in the twenties or thirties. I have lived in New York all of my life so I hat the cold. I am already wearing my scarf and heavy coat. Tonight I will wear my hat and gloves also. (lol)

We possibly have passed each other a few times and clearly had not idea that we did. We probably even sat next to each other on a train or two, that is if you take the trains. I have not been driving so I suffer with public transportation. If you go to my profile you will see my picture. One of my most recent pictures if posted on one of my recent posts - that poem titled, "Apology." If you do not recall the face then we have passed each other with paying much attention. This happens all the time here. I know that you do know this.

Thank you for sharing your Tyburn poetry. I wonder if your first four lines aren't as much descriptive as they are verbs? However, you did use them in the last two lines.
