-Very nice artwork.
-Syllable count is good.
-I like the use of alliteration
to describe nature.
-Using a few words, you
show what nature does
and the importance of that.

This is a fine and interesting 5-7-5 poem and entry for the contest
Excellent combination of the first two words in sound and meaning
It certainly does seem like a repeated pattern,
back and forth, in so many different ways
Excellent poetics in rhyme and alliteration,
And choice of art work
Well done, my friend
RS

Great use of alliteration (nature nurtures, buries...birth, tick tock). I like how you cover the passage of time in nature, from birth to death, rebirth and the cyclical nature of the seasons.

This is excellent, Christine. Nature does nurture earth and we have to understand that it goes in cycles, sometimes too little and sometimes too much of a good thing. Earth is perpetually cycling as your third line suggests. Marilyn

I think your poem describes the life and renewing of earth with, buries the dead then
gives birth. I especially like the first line because it gives hope and then the last
line makes me feel the continuing of stopping and starting again.

STRONG entry for contest of 5-7-5. "Tick tock" is such profound statement of the life cycle and cycle of nature. Your photo is so mysterious and speaks to the mysteries of life we don't comprehend, yet. WELL DONE! lol liberty justice

An interesting point- well actually a couple to ponder on, a very good 5-7-5 I find that number hard to write for some reason. I think this is very well worded well done and good luck kind regards Meia x

Very nice. I find the words captivate the image, in the format in which it is written. I am not a huge fan of small poems with defined syllable rules...They're like an ingredient thrown into your recipe, just to see if you can cook...It's not really dinner, but more like a test...my meaning anyway. You have, however, done a good job of it.
