There's something that ties death with birth, Job said, "Naked I was born into the world, and naked I leave it, blessed be the name of the Lord!" So yes, the elements that we are made of, are ever present in nature, so you're right Christine, well done, great entry, good luck, blessings, Roy

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem. The cycle of life in nature is a circle of death and life. Seeds have to die before new life can emerge and new seeds are produced to die for the next life cycle.

the way of life, the cycle that goes on no matter what we do. Very nicely done for the contest, excellent wording to describe it

This was very well done, it is simple but very much to the point. It deals with the reality of life. Short but informative and enjoyable. Thanks so much Christine.

An easy on the eye 5-7-5. There is the absolute truth to this poem. You made a clever link between nature's clock as it refers to death and birth. I enjoyed reading, and I wish you luck for the contest

Ah, yes... The unyielding, never-ending cycle of life and death.
Where would our world be without it, Christine?
We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that come dawn the sun will rise,
At night, the moon will shine,
and the darker the night skies are the brighter the stars.
Lovely 5-7-5 for the Nature contest.

Hi there,

I like this piece. it is broadly observational in the wider concept. The tick tock is well realised here, this too shall pass and nature will live die and be reborn.

nice
