I agree. We all have a mission to fulfill, a role to play and they are all important. I also think that God always listens when we need him.

Beautiful and inspirational! The first stanza - I love how it comes across as a loving father.
The second stanza is a little awkward.
The third stanza makes you feel like you are one of a kind, and that God cares enough about you to remind you that there are specific things for you to do that cannot be done by another person.

What a comforting poem, Patricia! I remember a pastor saying ironically, "Why pray when you can worry?" Yes, our Lord cares for us so prayer should always be our first response. I wonder if the line, "Why are you so important to me" should end in a question mark.

These rhyming quatrains tell us what they always say at mass. That God loves and and hears us when we pray. It also explains that we each have our own reason for being here too.
