BOO! I See You! I want you to know that I do not believe in ghosts either. I hope you will have a wonder filled evening without any ghosts present. Patricia

I must admit, for a few minutes, I did believe in ghosts. Not any more.

Ha! Of course the sound stopped when you did, no longer shaking the box of pills. But how do you know a ghost didn't remove the cotton normally in such containers to keep the contents from rattling around? Just kidding. Yes, it was a mystery until you got home. In any case, a bit of self-deprecating humor is always welcome. Well done.
For clarity, you might want to insert the word "where" between "restaurant" and "I" in the second sentence of the next-to-last paragraph.

The bottle didn't have the cotton usually used, it had the little envelope fill with 'whatever' to prevent moisture from getting into the pills allowing them to rattle around inside the bottle. I added the 'where' and the sentence now reads much better. Thanks for the suggestion.

You are welcome. Usually, a bottle has at least the cotton, plus, if deemed necessary, the desiccator packet. If the manufacturer is saving a fractional cent on each such bottle, I'd wonder about the quality of the ingredients in the pills. Most commercial vitamins are worthless, as they are made from poorly absorbed compounds. Also, if the pill has both iron and Vitamin E (usually the cheap synthetic kind -- d-l-alpha instead of the natural d-alpha form), be aware that the iron and E will counter each other. They should be taken hours apart to prevent that. Take the E after a meal containing fat in some form, as E is fat-soluble. Also, if the pill contains Vitamin D, it should be natural, oil-soluble D3, not weak, water-soluble D2 (as added to milk). If it does not identify the D3 specifically, it likely is cheap D2. Don't waste your money, rattle
or not.
Yes, that sentence reads better now. Glad to help. -- Mike

I live in Mexico and have to accept what I get. I always get Centrum vitamins and take both Vitamin E and D separately. The ones I take are made in the US but I know that doesn't mean they are good.

Yes, I understand. Otherwise, you must order over the internet (as I do), but not all good suppliers will ship outside the U.S. (and the heat in your location would not be good for such items if they sit in a mailbox in the sun). Try to eat organically grown fruit and vegetables to compensate.

I never order any medication online. But I live on fruit and fresh vegetables.

You should be fine, then. -- Mike

You could call it humor. I think it was funny. For a while it was a mystery. Things like that happen and there is always a reasonable explanation. It is creepy to think someone is following you. Seen or not, no one likes that.Enjoyed. xxx

Yes, it really is creepy. I definitely need to get off this paranoid train I've been on for the past few weeks.

You need a good rest my friend. Your paranoia is definitely on the up.
We all have incidents like this but aren't too willing to admit it.
This was a fun read but I do hope that you are taking care of yourself

Thanks. At least I learned I was not being followed and yes, I need to get off this paranoia train.
