There are loves that touch our heart and our soul exactly as you describe them. The word 'imprint' is perfect here.
Good luck in the contest. I think you deserve a six, but I have none left.

Well done with your Short Poem, 20 syllables poem.
Very descriptive and I love the picture. Not so easy to create such a picture with so few words.

If I suggest you move the "forever" so it becomes the last word, I am not complaining about a split infinitve but suggesting that "forever" is a really strong word to end on and it wouldn't make any difference to the total syllable count.
