Very clever description of those pesky little dust particles that are always around. Dust today, back tomorrow. Loved the conversational way you've written this up. Well done,
cheers.

Good morning, Maria: I see that your character in this poem has a little OCD. (Obsessive Cleaning Disorder) I got a laugh out of this because sometimes my husband is like this. He worries about all kinds of little specks and other things. Hey I'm really not a messy person at all but he drives me crazy.

The poem is cute and funny. Thank you for my first morning laugh. Well, the second one. I like it that you mentioned:

But it's just an illusion,
They are still with me.
All around my house,
Just doing their thing.

Yepppp, because they will always be there no matter how much we think we have clean them away. Fuuuunnny!

Ha ha, you will absolutely lose, trying to keep up with, or eliminate the dust motes that love to dance and shimmy. WHERE do they all come from, ha ha??? Loved this Miss Maria, blessings....

Thanks for reading. BTW, may I ask you what your name is?

Thanks. I'll try to remember. I like using a person's name when I write to them. Judy is a sweet name. It suits you.

lol, That is so very true, what a terrific poem on the annoying little household dust particles. Need a HEPA filter in your vacuum, (I use a Kirby) bagless vacuums cause this too. ~Kerry

Hi Maria Jose, it's a battle you'll never win I'm afraid. Oh, I do dust and clean but only as needed. It's almost an impossible task living in the country and in a warm climate where doors and windows are open most of the year. And then the fireplaces take over for a few months. I loved your poem. All the best. Ulla:)))

Funnily enough my Madrid home gets dustier than the one in the countryside. Maybe because of the humidity... But we have cobwebs galore in the summer...
    Thanks for reading. Take care.

I am seeing OCD here lol. Thanks for the laugh with this work. I am not overly houseproud but I am convinced that the dust breeds in my bathroom at a tremendous rate.

Quitting is the only answer in a battle you can never win

hugs

Freda

I think you've captured the imagery of dusting, vacuuming or just having animals, the morning sun captures the particles of minuscule pieces, I'm glad Elaine, kids, and grands, and me, didn't/don't suffer from allergies. A great fun work Maria. Yes, you're a good well rounded writer Maria, perceptive, intuitive and sensitive to what's abroad! Well done, blessings, Roy

Thanks so much, Roy. For this review and all the others. You're always very kind.
P.S. I have hay fever and so does my youngest son. He's also slightly allergic to dogs and cats (we found out after we bought our dog), but he loves her so much that he wouldn't be without her.

We had about 6 cats (two were Persians, and a very hairy dog at one stage) friends with allergies kept away, heh heh,

We just have a dog, a feral cat in our little cabin near the mountains and a turtle. ;)

MJ,

I don't know why you even bother to attempt that battle. It's a losing one, my dear. *smile* They are the winners, by untold millions and billions and trillions and they have backups coming, too. hahahaha! Fun!
