LOL. This is really good. I think most women (men, too) can relate to this. We know darn right well you guys aren't paying attention when we say something. Is it senility or husbanditis? If contest isn't over, best of luck in it with this humorous entry. Marilyn

.It might have something to do with confusion caused by overwifiness.
Thanks for the terrific review and good wishes for the contest voting, Marilyn.

Love this repetition piece of poetry. It's short, but the repetition of "It couldn't have been that important" is a great line and is something that is repeated by many of us "seniors!" LOL! Great job!

Senior? But Mimi, your reviews are so youthful! Thank you for your excellent comments. Much appreciated.

LOL! You are too kind... but I'll take the Senior discount any day (there are some benefits to age)! Ha! Ha! Have a wonderful one!

Hello anonymous Poet: This is a hilarious poem but it is so realistic. I could see my husband in this poem and my oldest son, always forgetting and saying to themselves, "It couldn't have been that important." They realize though that it is all important to me so they call to ask again, "What was it that you wanted again?" This is a cute and adorable poem, reality to me. Great job!

I guess you CAN relate. You have instilled sufficient fear in them to make them need to find out what unimportant thing they'd better do.

I guess so or I would like to think that they have if not a healthy fear of disappointing me then a deep respect for me and still not wanting to disappoint me, due to this. (lol)
-
Yes, we agree. They're scared to death of you, and you get all that unimportant stuff you don't need. Don't be so modest. You run a tight ship.

Yeppppp! and thank you. You are so awesome.
