This is good writing but go back and check for a word being left out and spelling...its sitting not setting. This has potential to be excellent with the reference to the outcome of the election. The last sentence is politically powerful.

Well said. It is a crazy time, isn't it? Hope your projects don't get completely delayed because of the allergies and the political climate. It can't last for too long! Don't know how autobiographical this is, but I do hope you feel better soon!

A couple of comments on the second sentence:
I'm setting at my desk sniffing, (Unless you are writing a particular dialect, I think you mean 'sitting' not 'setting." And allergies cause more 'sniffling' not just smelling as in 'sniffing.'

This speaks bad news, since Donald Trump has been elected the President of the US, life has been a matter of reconstruction, author has to give up many important projects; I liked.

    He thought the election would bring expected change. Now, he has to consider going forward with projects. For example. insurance security is threatened. Everyone misread the election outcome. Thanks for reading, Alcreator.

Hi, Phillip;
Thank you for sharing this fit of Flash Fiction. So, do you really have itchy eyes and a runny nose? If so, this isn't fiction. Flash fiction tells a story and then has a twist at the end. Maybe you could rewrite this one a bit?

    I pulled something out of a collection of unfinished writings I have. However, I do come down with hay fever occasionally but it is quickly cured. Fictionally, I had ideas. I hardly write non-fiction. I take from the real and exaggerate, in other words: lie.

LOL you are so right, no matter what we have planned to do, there has been so many changes that life becomes an adventure. Nicely done
