As a former high school English teacher, I appreciate this salute.
H is for HOMEWORK that our dogs never eat. ( humorous touch)
E is for EACH STUDENT studying quietly in each seat. (fantasy, for sure.)

Favorite line: T is for TEAMWORK in class with the greatest coach.
Now that always worked.

Outstanding tribute to the most deserving profession and unfortunately, the most dangerous in today's environment of guns in school. Congratulations!

Writing from a student's POV, this is akin in older times to bringing the teacher a big red apple. Also is a literate acrostic and an excellent post, if you asked me...

Excellent acrostic, and teachers is a good choice of word to use. You work in your rhyme to advantage. and the lines flow smoothly. In your dreams can teachers achieve all this! It would be great if they could. Homework always done and always right answers given, those are dreams. Great nod to teachers and all the hard work they do. Congratulations on winning the acrostic contest. judi

As I teacher, I would like to give you an A+ for this writing prompt. You did a wonderful job on the acrostic verse. I can see why you were a contest winner. CONGRATS!

This is a really nicely written poem which I think is deserving of the contest winner! There is so much more to our school teachers than just them giving us homework, they are actually very important people in our lives. Teachers help our brains develop. Great work :)

An excellent work encouraging all to embrace education both student and tutor. We rarely appreciate the effort that these people put in to benefit us all.

One small suggestion would be to reduce the use of capitals, it is not necessary to prove that you have produced an acrostic work.

Blessings

Hello Freda: I thank you for viewing my poem. I am trying to give our children something positive to think about. I used capitals because that's how they are used on the example page. I am one who appreciate the effort that our teachers put in to benefit us all.Thank you for the stars. Your fan: rhonnie69.

That was an excellent acrostic. It's a shame that of all the children who go to school, there are so many who waste their time and don't bother to learn, and there are others in the world who would give their all to be able to swap places. An education is the best gift any child could wish for. Well done, this is a really excellent entry to the contest. Good luck! :) Sandra xx

Too much pallid obedience for my taste. Accomplishing what principals want? Children doing what their teachers want? Each student sitting quietly in each seat? Sorry, this doesn't reflect how it works in any school I've ever heard of. So I can't feel it honors any actual teachers. Or students.
Yes, this is just my opinion.

Hello Katya: I thank you for reviewing my poem. As pallid as it may seem, it is intended to express to our children; why they should feel that what our educational system is designed to do to benefit them, is not pallid at all, as it might seem, to some of them. And that they should be cooperative in their participation in school, for their own sake. And for their love, and obedience toward their parents, and also with their educational system. Somebody needs to help them realize that every one of our presidents of our future are attending school presently. And that each and every one of them have a sure-shot at being seated in that seat: depending on how they conduct themselves in school. A child who stands for nothing will fall for anything. "No school; woe fool." If we raise our children in the admonishment of our Lord. They'll understand what that saying means. Our children need our guidance, Katya. I'm just trying to help our educational system make them become noble adults. I thank you for reviewing my poem and hearing me out. Cordially: rhonnie69.

This is a well scalped poem and a very worthy winner dear rhonnie! You have successfully exceeded in using the age old game called the boat holds, at least for Finland it is excused.
Thanks for sharing!
Blessings and a big squeeze!
